Privacy Policy

The short version

• Your dating-app data, meaning the profiles you see, your swipes and your settings, is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.
• We keep only what we need to run your account and subscription.
• We don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, sign-in details and subscription status. If you sign in with a third-party account, we receive your basic profile from it to confirm who you are.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of your purchase and plan, never your full card number.
• Dating-app content. On the dating-app sites where you use it, the extension reads the profiles you see and records your swipes, so it can filter, automate, and show you your history and statistics.
• Location. Your location, the location you choose, and the places shown on profiles, used for location and distance features. To work out a location, the extension sends a place name, coordinates or a lookup based on your internet connection to our servers or to a location provider.
• Usage information. On our website, the pages you visit, your device and browser, and how you found us. In the extension, product events such as starting an auto-swipe session, sent with a random identifier that isn't linked to your account and never with dating-app content.
• Messages you send us. If you contact us, your name, email address and message, along with technical details of the request that help us prevent abuse.

How we use it

• To provide SwipeKit: your account, the extension's features and your subscription
• To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse
• To answer support requests and send service messages, such as email verification, password resets and billing notices
• To understand how SwipeKit is used and improve it
• To measure how people find our website and whether our advertising works

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run parts of SwipeKit for us, such as hosting, payments, email, location lookups and analytics. They use information only to provide their service to us.
• Analytics and advertising partners on our website, through cookies, to measure visits and how our ads perform.
• Your own cloud storage, if you turn on backup. The extension saves a copy of your SwipeKit data to your account, and we don't access it.
• Legal and safety reasons. When the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

SwipeKit works inside the dating apps you already use. Your use of those apps is covered by their own privacy policies.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics and advertising cookies to understand visits and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but signing in needs them.

How we protect it

Information is encrypted in transit, access to it is limited, and we never store your password in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission.

How long we keep it

We keep account and subscription information while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as we need it for legal, tax and accounting reasons or to resolve disputes.

The extension's data stays in your browser until you remove the extension. A backup stays in your cloud storage until you delete it.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights too. We respond within the time the law requires, and we won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

You can turn backup off at any time, and removing the extension deletes the data it keeps in your browser.

Age

SwipeKit is only for adults aged 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and we delete it if we learn that we have.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SwipeKit changes. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
